Depending on your circumstances and the type of debt you have, many debts will be canceled or repaid over time. Generally, for most individuals, you will file either a Chapter 7 bankruptcy or a Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

Chapter 7

If you have high credit card debt, serious unexpected medical expenses, or other debts you just can’t pay, Chapter 7 bankruptcy may cancel many of your debts. You will get a fresh start, free from the obligation to pay those impossible debts! There is a maximum income level to qualify for Chapter 7. However, if you do qualify, in many cases, you can keep your property and your debts may disappear! Please contact us for more information.
