Even a first time DUI has minimum penalties of fines, community service, driver’s license suspension and driving school. After a second or more conviction, there are minimum jail sentences. The maximum jail sentence is one year. If you have four or more DUI convictions, you may be charged with felony level DUI, which may include state prison time and a permanent revocation of your driver’s license.
