What is "enforcement?"

Enforcement is a Court proceeding to compel the other party to do something that is in a Court Order or an Agreement of the parties. An enforcement action is started by filing a Motion to Enforce. The Court will then hold a hearing, and determine what should be do to assure compliance with all provisions of a Court Order or Judgment, or an Agreement between the parties.
